New Orleans, LA – Two Killed in Car Crash on I-10 E near MM 242 by Morrison Rd
New Orleans, LA (May 5, 2021) – An auto accident reported in the New Orleans area on Sunday morning claimed the lives of two people. At around 3:38 a.m., on May 2, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on Interstate 10.
According to reports, a collision between two vehicles occurred on the eastbound side of Interstate 10 near mile marker 242 by Morrison Road. Police investigations found that a disabled vehicle was parked on the east side of the interstate when a second vehicle crashed into it from behind.
The driver in the stopped vehicle, a 36-year-old male, sustained fatal injuries. He was declared deceased at the scene. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
