Police said that that the collision occurred at about 11:25 a.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 610 on the exit ramp leading to Saint Bernard Avenue.
The area was closed down while local authorities and Emergency Medical Services arrive on the scene. They medically evaluated everyone involved in the accident. At least one victim was transported by ambulance to a local trauma center.
