Lafourche Parish, LA – Courtney Rogers Killed in Car Accident on LA-3235 at LA-3161
Lafourche Parish, LA (September 09, 2021) – One person was killed during a two-car accident on Saturday, September 4th at about 11:00 a.m. in Lafourche Parish.
The victim, Courtney Rogers, a resident of Galliano, died due to the severity of her injuries.
Louisiana State Police were called to the scene on LA-3235 at the intersection of LA-3161.
Troopers said their investigation showed that Dale Robicheaux was traveling westbound and failed to yield. Robicheaux pulled into the intersection and was struck by a northbound Rogers.
Both drivers were properly restrained and were transported to a hospital in New Orleans where Rogers passed away on Tuesday, September 7th.
This accident is under investigation.
