Greensburg, LA – Child Killed in Car Crash on LA-1045 near LA-43
Greensburg, LA (May 28, 2021) – Authorities were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident in Greensburg on Wednesday evening that claimed one person’s life. At around 10 p.m., on May 26, emergency crews were called to the site of a crash on Louisiana State Highway 1045.
Reports from authorities show that a 1997 Saturn SL1 was involved in an accident on Louisiana Highway 1045 near Louisiana Highway 43. After the accident, the occupants of the vehicle exited and began walking on the roadway when they were struck by a dark-colored van.
Several people involved in the crash were injured. One victim, identified as a 2-year-old child, passed away from their injuries. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
