Baton Rouge, LA – Lane Closure Due to Injury Crash on I-10 at Acadian Thruway
Baton Rouge, LA (August 30, 2021) – A car accident took place in Baton Rouge on Monday, August 30th.
Police said that that the crash happened at about 5:10 p.m. in the westbound lanes of Interstate 10 at the Acadian Thruway.
The righthand lane was closed to allow local authorities and Emergency Medical Services to report to the scene. They medically evaluated everyone involved in the accident. At least one victim was transported by ambulance to a local trauma center.
This accident is under investigation by local law enforcement officers.
