Baton Rouge, LA – Injuries Reported in Car Crash on I-110 near Plank Rd
Baton Rouge, LA (May 22, 2021) – An automobile accident reported in the Baton Rouge area ended in injuries. At around 8:50 a.m., on May 21, emergency crews were notified that an accident took place on Interstate 110.
Reports from the Baton Rouge Police Department indicate that a collision between vehicles blocked the southbound side of the Interstate near the intersection with Plank Road.
The incident caused congestion that extended back to Evangeline Street as emergency crews worked to clear the roadway. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries. At this time, the crash remains under investigation by the police.
