Baton Rouge, LA – Crash on I-10 near Highland Rd Ends in Injuries
Baton Rouge, LA (May 13, 2021) – Authorities in the Baton Rouge area were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries. At around 2:15 p.m., on May 13, police and firefighters were requested at the scene of a crash on Interstate 10.
Reports from local authorities show that a collision between motor vehicles occurred on the eastbound side of the interstate near Highland Road during the afternoon hours.
The incident resulted in confirmed injuries. Medics responded to the scene and rendered aid to injured parties before transporting them to local hospitals for further care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
