Ascension Parish, LA – Anthony Graham Killed in Pedestrian Accident on Weber City Rd
Ascension Parish, LA (September 03, 2021) – Louisiana State Police were called to investigate a fatal pedestrian accident on Saturday, August 28th in Ascension Parish.
The accident happened at about 8:00 p.m. on Weber City Road in the area of LA-431.
The deceased has been identified as 39-year-old Anthony Graham, a resident of Gonzales.
An investigation determined that the crash occurred as Graham was walking on Weber City Road, nearly three feet from the edge of the roadway. A car, believed to be a Nissan Altima, entered a curve and left the roadway, striking Graham.
The force of the impact caused Graham to be ejected, landing in the front yard of a nearby residence.
He passed away due to his injuries on Thursday, September 2nd.
Based on evidence gathered on the scene, troopers think the vehicle that hit Graham was a 2008-2013 Grey Nissan Altima.
