Police reported that that the crash happened at about 7:55 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of US-90 at Convention Center Boulevard.
Local authorities and Emergency Medical Services also reported to the scene and evaluated everyone involved in the accident. At least one victim was transported by ambulance to a local trauma center.
