Baton Rouge, LA – Vehicle Collision with Injuries Reported near S Sherwood Forest Blvd and Southfork Ave
Baton Rouge, LA (March 27, 2021) – A motor vehicle accident reported on Saturday evening in the Baton Rouge area ended in injuries. At approximately 8:20 p.m., on March 27, emergency crews were requested at the scene of a traffic-related incident on South Sherwood Forest Boulevard.
Reports show that a crash between motor vehicles occurred in the 3400 block of South Sherwood Forest Boulevard at the intersection with Southfork Avenue. The incident blocked the roadway, causing delays in the area between Southfork Avenue and Longridge Avenue as crews worked to remove the vehicles and restore the flow of traffic.
Medics were requested at the scene of the accident to provide treatment to injured parties. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further care. At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
